Summer Concert Series, Farmers Market, Hiking, and the Datsun Car Show!

As the first firework shot into the night sky, the crowd fell silent to watch it glow!

I was taking in the views and was suddenly aware of just how majestic and hidden this lake was.

As always, the Botanical Gardens looked lush and welcoming as a large crowd gathered to enjoy the sights and sounds.

I cannot stress enough how much I loved walking through the gardens, being moved by the sculptures, and reading the stories behind each one.

From the top we had unobstructed views of Black Butte, Mt. Shasta, Mt. Eddy, and Castle Lake.

Strolling along the rows of deep purple blooms, with woven basket in hand, snipping prime lavender and taking in the view.
